A few days ago I had a good chat with Mathew of Intensive Square for Echoes and Dust, and you can read it here.
Earlier this week, I had the chance to send Tom of Bossk some questions, and being a long-time fan I was pretty happy about it. You can check it out on the Eyesore Merch blog here.
I’m also writing for them again, and another website… all will be revealed!
So I had the opportunity to catch Dragged Into Sunlight and Bossk on their UK tour in London, and interview T of DIS before the gig. Check out my review of the live performances and the interview – T had some very interesting things to say.
So, in late April, I was given the awesome opportunity to go the Bristol date of the Bongripper/Conan/Humanfly UK tour, and to chat with the guys with Bongripper. It’s another highlight in this whole music reviewing thing so far, I still can’t comprehend it. Anyways, if you want to check some of the Bongripper/Conan/Humanfly stuff on the MetalRecusants site, click this way.
Another MetalRecusants member got some nice shots at the Manchester gig, worth looking up!
So, last month, I went to my first Hammerfest festival up in North Wales at the Hafan y Môr Holiday Park. I went up there with the Eyesore Merch team to review the event and to carry out some interviews, and they’re all finally up!
It was a pretty awesome experience and discovered some new bands that I just loved – could easily see myself going again.
I don’t know how I forgot to put it up on here because it’s by far one of my favourite moments since doing this reviewing stuff. So I was lucky enough to have a chat with the legendary Sleep guitarist and High On Fire frontman Matt Pike before their gig in Bristol, you can check out what he had to say here, and the review of the gig here.
So last week, I did my first set of interviews with members of Ageless Oblivion, Dyscarnate and Aeon. This week, my review of the gig and interview with Zeb of Aeon got put up on MetalRecusants! So you can check out both the interview and the review.
